Volunteers Are Amazing (and so are you!)
Volunteering isn’t just work; aside from being a good time on the trails, on two wheels, with great people, it’s our community on a mission.
“Volunteering on trails is such a blast—it brings people together and turns strangers into friends. Giving back feels amazing, and knowing your work helps others enjoy the outdoors. Plus, it’s a great way to get moving, clear your head, and soak up some fresh air and sunshine while making a real difference. And the best part? You get to ride bikes too! How cool is that?”
- Melissa Antinoro, THOR Community Engagement Director
If you haven’t volunteered with THOR before, give it a try: It’s the ultimate win-win—your contributions, no matter how small, can support thousands of others while gaining something for yourself. Meet new people, build new friendships, and pick up new skills. You’ll stay active, give your mental and physical health a boost, and get that unbeatable feeling when you see the results of your work—a well-maintained trail, a cleaner park, and a community of people that are a little happier with effort.
From Missouri Valley Expo to Good Vibes Ride to Gravel Worlds, there’s always a way to get involved. Whether you’re lending a hand, cheering riders on, or helping keep the trails in top shape, you’ll be surrounded by good vibes, good people, and good times.
