We’d love for you to join us at Platte River State Park to help clear trails. As you know, the summers in Nebraska create jungle-like growth, and these beloved trails don’t clear themselves! Come break up your work week with some fresh air, good company, and meaningful impact. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re brand new to trail work or a seasoned volunteer. Come get your hands dirty with us at Platte River State Park!
Meet at the east side MTB parking lot
What To Expect?
We’ll focus on corridor clearing, mowing, trimming, and other hands-on tasks to help keep the trails in great shape. It’s a fun, easy way to give back—and a great excuse to spend time outdoors with awesome people!
What to Bring
Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
Layers for changing weather
Closed-toe shoes (sturdy and comfortable)
Work gloves & eye protection (if you have them)
Water – it’ll likely be warm!
Waiver Info
All volunteers must sign the THOR Volunteer Waiver (only once per year).
If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must sign it too.
