Director of Finance & Human Resources
Serving as the strategic financial anchor, compliance leader, and human resources engine supporting THOR's growing team, programs, project portfolio, and day-to-day operations. Working closely with the Executive Director, this role is the financial balance to our entrepreneurial growth—ensuring impeccable financial integrity, GAAP compliance, and administrative excellence as we scale to deliver on our mission.

Development & Construction Manager
As our Development & Construction Manager, you are the detailed organizer, logistics engine, and construction manager behind our trail development pipeline. You turn opportunities into trails by taking a lead role in seeing projects through incubation, planning, design, construction, and final handoff. You’ll be supported by and collaborate with the Executive Director and other members of the THOR team throughout each project, but you are the scrum-master, dotter of “i’s” and crosser of “t’s”, striving each day to drive projects forward with clarity, quality, and communication.

Trail Crew
As a key member of the THOR Trail Crew, you’ll help build and maintain natural-surface trails that bring our mission to life. From shaping dirt and features to installing trail amenities, your work expands access to outdoor recreation, improves user experience, enhances sustainability, and keeps trails safe and engaging for the community.
This full-time position (32+ hours per week, including occasional evenings and weekends) supports 25 trail systems, with a primary focus on high-use metro trails. Trail Crew members are stewards of public spaces and ambassadors for THOR, working alongside volunteers, land managers, and trail users to connect people to the outdoors through great trails.
