  • Sioux City Programs Coordinator

    Trails Have Our Respect-Sioux City (THOR-SC) is seeking a Program Coordinator to join the THOR team. The Program Coordinator is responsible for collaborating, creating, and coordinating daily interactions with businesses, individuals, and municipalities for THOR-SC. Normal work hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Some evenings and weekends are required, depending on seasonal programming and scheduled events. 

    The Program Coordinator plays a critical collaborative role in communicating and executing THOR’s engagement programs. This position reports to the BikeCollab Program Director and will work closely with THOR’s Team and THOR-SC Leadership to cultivate strategic relationships, partnerships, and programs with community volunteers and organizations in alignment with goals for the Sioux City region.

    The ideal candidate will possess genuine enthusiasm and experience for the outdoors, advocacy, community and environmental education, and working in diverse communities. The ideal candidate will envision equitable access to nature and outdoor spaces for everyone to move, play, and explore.

  • Trail Crew

    As a key member of the THOR Trail Crew, you help move and shape the dirt, features, and trail amenities that bring THOR’s mission to life. Your work creates and enhances access to outdoor recreation, improves user experience, enhances sustainability, minimizes risk, and keeps trails open and engaging for the community.

    In this full-time role (32+ hours per week, with occasional evenings and weekends), you’ll help build and maintain natural surface trails across the 25 trail systems that THOR supports, with a primary focus on metro and our highest-use trail systems.

    Trail Crew members are more than tool operators—they are stewards of public spaces and ambassadors for THOR and the trail community. By working closely with volunteers, land managers, and trail users, you directly support our purpose: connecting people to the outdoors through great trails.  This full-time position begins in March 2026, includes benefits, and offers year-round employment.
